This is my first post, and I'd like to share some experiments that I studied to development a business scenario but it is not a lab scenario.

We are building a business scenario for planningandwehavetoloaddata from SAP ECC 6.0 tocomposetheanalyses, in this case weusingthe Data Source 0PU_IS_PS_32.

The imagebelowshows partofthescenario. In this case weusingaDSOobjectlike a PropagationLayerthatreceivedall data from Data Source.

The comparisonistwoscenariostoload data:

  • ·        Using DTP with HANA Execution: in this case ismandatoryuse anInfoPackage, becauseweneeda PSA toactivatethatconfiguration.
  • ·        Using DTP withdirectextration: in this case HANA Executionisdisableandwedon’thave PSA.

DTP configurationusing HANA Execution:

Now I changed theconfigurationstoload data from DTP, buttheoptionto HANA Executionisunavaliable. The filtersisthesame ofInfoPackageabove.
